Students may apply for student visa in 2 ways

  • By using an e-visa Agent who can lodge an application over the internet; (or)
  • By lodging the relevant forms, documents and fee at the nearest VFS office in India. Students can choose an education agent for this on their behalf

The students can apply for either an e-visa or can make Paper visa application, as the requirements and entitlements will be exactly same with only difference being that e-visa sometimes offers faster processing.

E-visa : is a trail set up for faster online application visa processing, authorizing established and approved education agents to lodge student visa applications.

E-visa applications have a faster, streamlined assessment process at Adelaide in Australia.

Paper visa applications are lodged by those University Representatives and Education Agents as well as clients who do not have an e-visa access. These applications are processed at the Australian High Commission, New Delhi.

The requirements and entitlements for the student visa application will be exactly same for either a e-visa or paper application with only difference being that e-visa sometimes offers faster processing.

Students can refer to the web link below: ( http://vfs-au-in.com), to find out about VFS offices and their locations.

A Student Visa will be granted on varying factors of assessment criterias such as :
